Description
Riding along in Arizona I spotted these red cliffs and wanted to get a photo, we came across a pull out and I took it. When I stopped I saw a tent right off the road and someone in it. I waved to the guy and took some pictures, and then I thought, if he's camping out here with no vehicle he must be thirsty. So I got a cold bottle of water out of the ice chest and took it to him. Filippi was his name, he was traveling across the United States on food, headed for main, started in California and here he is camped just outside of Monument Valley. He felt like a friend from the very start and although we didn't do much for him, we were headed in the opposite direction, I hope he makes the trip okay and has the time of his life.
