That day I remember waking up early at a rest stop in Idaho and all the CB Channel Chatter was going off about the Mountain had gone off and to avoid Portland Oregon going into Washington. This was the second time she erupted since the 18th of May and We were headed toward our first duty station at Ft. Lewis and had to cut up North to the East side of Washington and then over to the west by way of hwy 18
