Standing on the Western Coast of the United States in a small town called Centrailia in the state of Washington is this monument to those that stand ready to defend against all enemies foriegn and domestic. However, this one is not just a waiting passive character, he is a man of action, close examination will reveal the bayonet on his rifle is broken, and they get that way from using it against an enemy.
